Oh man. There aren’t enough words to adequately communicate the moments of the past weekend. The Royal Daughters Glampout was beautiful, dreamy, refreshing, divinely orchestrated, so many things. My love tank is full and overflowing. I’ve started this post several times and found myself without ANY words. The weekend and the participants left me in ruins in the most wonderful way. I went into it with wounds. Wounds from others. Wounds from myself. And these women were like a healing salve. As cheesy as it sounds, my faith in humanity is restored. Apparently I just needed to meet with like-minded women in the desert heat in Texas in a tent with scorpions and bird-sized bugs. That’s all.
I’m not sure I can wrap up my thoughts from the weekend in one post. Life-changing moments just can’t be conveyed in 1500 words or less. So, I’m going to get my thoughts out over the course of the week. But, I do feel the urgency to get it all down in writing so that I don’t let it fade from my memory. I’ve only been home for a day and I already feel myself forgetting the delicate details of some of the small-but-big moments.
So, if I post feverishly over the course of the next week or two it’s because I want you to enjoy the frantic thought process with me.
